Back on MTX! that didn't last long. flared up at the weekend so Dr James has decided i need to go back on the methotrexate along with the etanercept. reduced me to a lower dose to see if headaches would still occur, they did, so he's now reducing me to the lowest dose. i pray to god that they stop, the thought of starting back at square one with medications is driving me insane, espeically when i've come so far.
i break up from school today, really looking forward to the holidays :) got the belgian family (mum's side) visiting for christmas with my two little cousins, Timo who is 2 and Felix who'se 3 months, that should be fun! Heading down to shropshire for 3 days of new year fun with dad's side of the family, which i'm also looking forward to :)
hope you're all well, merry christmas! xxx

Hello Hannah,
Have a wonderful Christmas and Hogmany celebrations with the family. Like Mary L ,I take MTX at night along with a yoghurt. I still will get a slight headache but as I am taking pain killers before bed anyway this helps. I again take painkillers in the morning, after eating, on the day after MTX.

Take care

Hope this lasts Hannah and you see some improvement in time for Christmas. Must be a relief that mock exams are out of the way. Take some time to rest and chill out over Christmas.
